How we work

Most people start with a single hour. You bring a specific problem: a contract, a market, a release that isn't landing, and leave with a straight answer and a plan you could execute yourself. If it's useful, we go further. If it isn't, you've lost an hour, not a quarter's budget.

From there, some clients move onto a monthly retainer. A smaller number run full campaigns with us over a year or more. We take those on case by case, and only when the work justifies it.

01.

China market entry

Our core programme. A bespoke, fully tailored route into the Chinese market, backed by an on-the-ground network.

Includes:

  • Market research and opportunity sizing specific to your artist

  • Platform strategy across Douyin, RED Note, NetEase, QQ Music and Kugou

  • Chinese-language content strategy, production and adaptation

  • Fan community building and management

  • Local partnership and label introductions

  • Live performance routing, showcase placement and the certification process

Best for: artists, managers and labels with a defined reason to be in China and the budget to do it properly.

02.

Contracts and rights review

Chinese distribution, licensing and publishing agreements, reviewed by someone who reads both the English and the Chinese version and notices when they don't say the same thing.

Includes:

  • Review of Mainland distribution and licensing agreements

  • Cross-checking Chinese and English versions for material discrepancies

  • Territory and exclusivity analysis, including conflicts with existing deals

  • Rights registration and copyright protection strategy

  • Commercial commentary on terms, splits and duration

This is commercial and strategic review, not regulated legal advice. Where you need a qualified solicitor, we'll tell you and can point you to one.

Best for: anyone about to sign something in China, or anyone who already has and isn't sure what they signed.

03.

UK artist strategy

Building strong foundations at home, which is usually the prerequisite for anything working abroad.

Includes:

  • Release strategy and campaign planning

  • Social and DSP optimisation across Instagram, TikTok, Spotify and Apple Music

  • Community building and fan data infrastructure

  • Live strategy, from first shows to showcase festivals

  • Brand partnerships

  • Career development and long-term commercial structuring

Best for: developing artists and small labels who need senior-level strategy without a full-time hire.

04.

Platform build

Most independent labels and management companies run on a dozen spreadsheets, a shared drive and a WhatsApp thread. Release schedules live in one place, royalty statements in another, and nobody can answer a simple question — what did this artist earn last quarter? What are we still owed?

We build the system that replaces all of it. Not an off-the-shelf tool bent into shape, but a platform built around how your business actually works.

What this looks like

  • One dashboard across the whole roster - release timelines, KPIs, task lists, revenue status, at a glance

  • Individual artist dashboards - each artist sees their own data and nobody else's

  • Automatic ISRC allocation - match your registrant rules and enforced by the database so a code can never be duplicated or skipped

  • A royalty and recoupment engine - handle real contract splits and advance recoupment, with an importer that maps any distributor's statement format instead of needing new code each time

  • Bulk import of historic catalogue - built to absorb years of inconsistent back-catalogue data without corrupting live financial records

  • Live figures pulled in automatically - from platforms like Spotify, YouTube, Google Calendar and Ticket Tailor — including multi-currency ticketing revenue

  • AI that reads your meeting notes - turn action items into tasks, automatically, every day

  • One-click branded reports - a PDF snapshot of any artist's dashboard, ready to send to a distributor, investor or partner

  • Access control enforced in the database itself - An artist or third party cannot retrieve another artist's data even through a direct API call. Producers, distributors and partners get precisely the slice they're entitled to and nothing more

Built using…

Next.js // React // TypeScript // Supabase // PostgreSQL with row-level security // Vercel // Git // Google OAuth Calendar // Gmail and YouTube Data APIs // Resend // server-rendered PDF generation

Best for: labels and management companies with more than a handful of artists, who've outgrown spreadsheets and don't want to hand their catalogue and contracts to generic software.

How to work with us

You don't need to commit to a campaign to find out whether we're useful. Most relationships here start with a single paid session and grow from there

One hour, booked when you need it. Bring a contract you don't trust, a market you don't understand, or a release that isn't working. You leave with specific answers and a plan you could act on tomorrow, with or without us. This is where nearly everyone starts.

01. Consultancy session

An agreed number of hours each month, for teams who want us reachable rather than booked. Suits labels and managers with something live and ongoing in China, or a platform build in progress.

02. Monthly retainer

Six months to a year of hands-on execution across research, content, platforms, partnerships and live. Significant commitment on both sides, so we take these case by case and will say no if the fit isn't right.

03. Full campaign
